 Chef, Consultant.  Chef Ryan Bissell completed his training at the prestigious Dubrulle Culinary School in Vancouver, BC and now resides in Cobble Hill, B.C. He has worked at some of the finest restaurants along the “Sea to Sky” including Joe Fortes, Araxi, C Restaurant, and The Bearfoot Bistro. As a proven leader in high volume environments, Ryan excelled at executive level positions with Whistler/Blackcomb, The Boathouse Restaurants, Ulis Restaurant and the Villa Eyrie Resort. Ryan has vast experience in this market, opening the bakery and cafe at North Arm Farm in Pemberton and Beast and Brine Provisions in south Surrey BC. Ryan opened the Lakehouse at Shawnigan in 2020 and still has a partner share in the business gaining a major reputation in the Cowichan valley as one of the valley's top chefs.
